The 3rd Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) Policy Meeting 

The 3rd _{^{Meeting on Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) Policy was held in the Department of Agriculture (DOA), Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) from 11th to 15th July 2022. The objective of the meeting was to discuss and revise the GAP policy. 20 participants, including 9 women attended the meeting.}}

The Project Steering Committee Meeting of the Climate-Friendly Agribusiness Value Chains Sector Project was held from 9th to 10th June 2022, at Landmark Mekong Riverside Hotel, Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR. The meeting was chaired by Mr Kikeo Singnavong, Deputy Minister of MAF, and co-chaired by Dr Somsaat Ounsida, Deputy Governor of Khammouane province, Mr Lingthong Sengtavanh, Deputy Governor of Savannakhet province, and Dr Souksavanh Vilayvong, Head of Provincial Planning and Cooperation Office. The representatives from PPIUs, PPIC, DALAM, DOA, DOI, NAFRI, DAEC,  DOR,  NPMO, MoF, MoPC, MOIC and MORE with a total of 117 participants, including 40 women attended the meeting.

The Climate Friendly Agribusiness Value Chains Sector Project (CFAVC) held a training course on techniques for screening Designs and Resources of Rural Infrastructures, from 7th to 9th July 2022 for the district and provincial staff in Champhone district, Savanakhet province. The training workshop was chaired by Mr Sounthala Thonphanith, the deputy director of the Province Agriculture and Forestry Office (PAFO). 72 participants, including 10 women were from DoI, NPMO, PPIUs, and DPIUs of Khammoune, Savanakhet and Saravan provinces.

The Climate Friendly Agribusiness Value Chains Sector Project (CFAVC) held a training on the use of the Accounting Program and a presentation of the CFAVC Annual Plan for 2022 at Phouthevada Hotel, Paksong District, Champhasak Province, from 13th to 19th February 2022.
